#migrantworkersofmaldives Social Media Campaign

Inspired from the Humans of New York series, MMWM introduced the #migrantworkersofmaldives series on the 1st Day of Ramadan. The purpose of the campaign is to introduce the story of a new migrant worker from different works of life everyday for the rest of the month. We hope to provide a platform for the migrant workers to communicate their stories and for the viewers to get a glimpse into their lives and hear about their struggles, victories and reality from them. By doing so we hope to eliminate the existing barriers and convey stories that not only resonate but is their truth. 

This campaign also aims to showcase the diversity of migrant workers from different countries, ages, gender and of varying skills which is reflective of the society we live in.
